The Opportunity: Accounting Manager
We seek an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's close-knit team. You'll be a strategic partner, streamlining our budgeting and reporting. Leveraging your wine & agriculture industry expertise, you'll craft clear financial insights to fuel our continued success.
Summary of Functions:
Oversees all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Reconciles financial accounts and ensures accurate reporting.
Partners with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Identifies cost-saving opportunities and improves operational efficiency.

Requirements
You're a Perfect Fit If You Have:
Wine Industry Accounting Experience: You know the intricacies of vineyard finances.
Financial Reporting Prowess: You can translate data into actionable insights.
Analytical Acumen: You see trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Leadership Potential: You'll guide and develop our accounting team.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the wine industry
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of GAAP and wine industry accounting practices
Proven experience in cost accounting, inventory management, and budgeting/forecasting
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Analytical & Communication Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for strategic financial analysis
Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly
