ADP Oracle Database Administrator in Nanterre, France

ADP is hiring an Oracle Database Administrator in our offices in Europe. This is a hybrid role.

As an Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) you will be managing and supporting the global database architecture. Does this sound like you?

THINGS YOU’LL DO: Responsibilities

To work within a Global DBA team made of experts on Database & automation to contribute to the development of

  • SELF SERVICE portals

  • AUTOMATION of repetitive and manual tasks like

  • Installation, patch, stop&start

  • Migration

  • Backup

  • Creation/change of User, instance, database

  • Replication

  • Auto-healing

  • Etc

  • Metrics & dashboard consolidation

Studies (technology watch)

Public Cloud transition

  • OPS:

  • To support Oracle & SQL database servers in EMEA (incident, change, migration, DRP), troubleshoot, support.

  • On call will be required

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • You'll have a bachelor’s degree OR equivalent.

  • 05+ years of solid hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA combined with Oracle Applications system administrator and Oracle database administrator to support a Global Oracle database 11g /12c /19c.

  • Extensive experience managing Oracle, including the development, implementing, troubleshooting of complex business logic using Oracle Application Framework, Reports, Oracle Report, Interfaces, conversion, and workflow, JQuery, Python, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts.

  • Experience with tuning and troubleshooting large scale Oracle databases, including SQL, PL/SQL,

  • Technical skills Databases:

  • Mandatory: ORACLE RDBMS (10 -> 19c) MEDIOR,

  • Nice to have: SQL Server (2008-2019) SENIOR, any of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Hadoop ORACLE RAC Clusters

  • Backup / clone / migration: DATAPUMP,RMAN DRP: Dataguard

  • Replication Tools (GoldenGate, Dataguard) System:

  • Windows, Linux (SUSE 11, 12), Red Hat

  • Windows Clusters

  • SAN Storage (IBM) -> Disk Group knowledge

  • Virtualization: VMWARE Hypervisor

  • Must be able to sit in the One ADP office location This is not a remote position.

  • Provide 24x7 support coverage.
