Emerson Production Engineer in Nanjing, China

Job Summary

If you are a Product Management Leader looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Nanjing, China location, you will be responsible for supervising production hourly employees to meet safety, quality, facility performance, production and shipment targets, need to join the rostering of 2nd shift.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Be responsible for shop floor management, environmental protection, and 5S requirement in production area

  • Coordinate workforce, work flow, material flow and inventory to reach production, quality and cost targets

  • Be sure all safety, quality, process and facility control procedure are well implemented in shift

  • Supervise, train and develop an effective team to support operation needs

  • Rotate and work closely with other Production Supervisors to take full responsibilities for managing in the shop floor across both Business Units and functions, responsible for achieving the objectives of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Efficiency, 5S, etc. In the meantime, you have the responsibility to manage production scheduling, equipment maintenance, warehouse function during the 2nd shift.

  • Take other job assignments allocated by leaders.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

  • Knowledge of working efficiency, manning, manufacturing, quality, safety & environment.

  • Training in 5S, Lean and leadership skills.

  • Proficient written and oral communications skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
