Carsome Regional Assistant Manager, Retail Operations in Mutiara Damansara, Malaysia
About You
As a member of the team, you will take responsibility for one of the largest retail automotive team in Malaysia. In this role, you will work directly with the Regional Head of Retail Operations to achieve Carsome's vision, mission, and strategic goals which play a critical role in the success of the brand. You will also be working closely with counterparts to optimize and implement processes; leading cross-functional initiatives along with regional and local teams to improve the retail end-to-end process.
Your Day-to-Day
Design and implement sales and operations related systems regionally to optimize business operations
Design and implement target operating models, SOPs & ensure compliance from local teams
Design and implement OKRs for the local team, with ongoing follow-ups to ensure alignment and track performance
Work with the data team to improve the dashboards (sales & operation related data) and to ensure data accuracy.
Branch Efficiency study on a monthly basis, leveraging data alongside broader strategic factors
Analyze gaps in the system to obtain the best cost-effective operations
Excellent at coordinating information and data requirements to the product team to support system enhancements.
Ability to utilize expert knowledge and understanding of all interdependencies between business processes and metrics development
Work both regionally and cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders
Your Know-How
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field, with 4–6 years of experience in Sales and Operations Management, along with demonstrated involvement in process improvement and/or project management, preferably within leading organizations in the automotive, e-commerce, consulting, and/or operations-focused industries.
Excellent ability to plan, organize and prioritize work independently in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, independent and highly motivated
Must be self-motivated. Requires strong detail-oriented program management and influencing skills to work in a broad regional environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiar with Microsoft Office tools, with a strong focus on Excel competencies.
Understanding of Operational management systems and processes.
Strong in data analysis.
