Aerotek Welder Fabricator in Muscatine, Iowa
Job Description:
Weld and build custom metal products for a variety of industries using MIG welding techniques (dual shield and flux core wire)
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, or written requests to complete assemblies
Fabricate parts using manual or CNC machinery, such as presses, rollers, and cutters
Inspect welds and assemblies against blueprints and customer specifications
Using basic shop math, such as fractions and decimals
Finish work, such as grinding, sanding, or polishing
Using hoists or forklifts to lift and move materials and products
Qualifications:
1+ year of MIG welding experience
Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
Basic math
Measuring skills, using calipers, tape measures, micrometers
