Aerotek Welder Fabricator in Muscatine, Iowa

Job Description:

  • Weld and build custom metal products for a variety of industries using MIG welding techniques (dual shield and flux core wire)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, or written requests to complete assemblies

  • Fabricate parts using manual or CNC machinery, such as presses, rollers, and cutters

  • Inspect welds and assemblies against blueprints and customer specifications

  • Using basic shop math, such as fractions and decimals

  • Finish work, such as grinding, sanding, or polishing

  • Using hoists or forklifts to lift and move materials and products

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of MIG welding experience

  • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation

  • Basic math

  • Measuring skills, using calipers, tape measures, micrometers
