About the position: As a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor, you will:

  • Utilizing specialized engineering knowledge provides technical support to multiple levels of managers and/or employees.
  • Regularly leads small teams that are semi-complex.
  • Participates as member and may occasionally lead interdepartmental teams.
  • Participates as a key team member in completion/resolution of larger, more consequential projects/issues.
  • Exchanges information and regularly negotiates with multiple internal departments over a variety of routine and complex issues.
  • Keeps informed and aware of innovations in state of the art engineering techniques.
  • Works under general supervision from manager and/or more experienced staff.
  • Follows procedures, policies and/or guidelines for some decisions, but has authority to modify routine and substantive procedures as required.
  • Regularly analyzes and evaluates procedures and makes minor and significant modifications.
  • Expected to utilize creativity and ingenuity in order to accomplish tasks.
  • Estimates and plans own work and work of team.
  • Routine decisions and some non-routine decisions are not typically subject to check.
  • Projects have budgets up to $500,000 and work can affect operations of multiple departments/divisions and impact a product’s ultimate functionality or performance.
  • Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment.
  • May perform tests or experiments requiring the use of nonstandard procedures and complex instrumentation.
  • Has authority for employment decisions, and appraise performance. Provides work direction to individuals or department and assists in resolving problems. Implements employee relations programs and resolves personnel issues. Supports the Company Hoshin as may be required.
  • Performs related work as assigned.

About you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience as an engineer.

About the total compensation package: Salary - Expected to be between $82,800 - $106,000 depending on the selected candidate’s background.
