Who we are looking for.

The technologies we build and the ways we help our customers use them can be complex. We’re looking for a Storyteller and Executive Speechwriter (f/m/d) to help us share what we do in a simple, compelling, and passionate way. As a member of our CEO Communications Department, you’ll be part of an expert and diverse team that supports the CEO of Siemens AG in communicating across different channels and audiences. Your work will maximize the voice, impact, and reach of the CEO while also enhancing the perception of Siemens as a focused technology company.

Your role.

  • Translate complex topics and information into clear and powerful stories and messages.

  • Develop inspiring speeches and presentations, talking points, opinion articles, video statements, and social media content across different channels for the CEO in German and English.

  • Tailor message and tonality of the CEO’s voice to all kinds of audiences (business leaders, governments and political leaders, academia, industry association, employees etc.) and various channels.

  • Work jointly on executive communication projects, and to establish a network across the entire organization in order to gather and craft compelling new stories.

Your profile.

  • Many years of professional experience in executive communications and speech writing, particularly at the C-level. Experience within a tech company in an international setting is highly desirable.

  • Extensive experience in developing thought leadership content, including creating engaging posts on platforms like LinkedIn.

  • Demonstrated ability to approach challenges strategically and creatively, with outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.

  • Previous experience in journalism is considered a strong asset.

  • Shown experience in leading, managing, and collaborating with international teams on complex projects.

  • Ability to focus and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility and willingness to quickly shift focus as new needs arise.

  • Openness to learning, receiving feedback, and challenging the status quo in a constructive manner.

  • Business-fluency in German and English are a requirement for this role.

  • Formal qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, humanities or equivalent.
