Job Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means.

•7+ Years of experience in Oracle DBA•Available to work in 24X7 capability.•Strong Performance tuning skills – Query level tuning / DB tuning / Memory level tuning.•Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Goldengate, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data guard, Backup & Recovery etc.•Strong DBA skills and relevant working experience with Oracle Database 11g,12c and 19c.•Experience implementing high availability features of Oracle Database

Responsibilities

Contribute clinical perspective and best practice recommendations to solution design and development Develop and maintain professional relationships with senior clinical leadership within the client base and industry Provide client feedback to engineering leadership to enhance solution offerings Advise clients on solution design best practices and the benefits of clinical adoption Inform solution strategy by anticipating opportunities, analyzing competitive posture and proposing solutions to client challenges People Management Responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports): Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments. Provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development. Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.
