Conduct periodic Fire Risk audits and propose mitigation plans
Understand the process flow and operation of each equipment
Identify the potential/ Significant Hazards, Aspects, and consequences
Significance of activities and process to be defined based on legal, Emergency and severity rating
Develop mitigation plans to reduce the potential hazard and the associated risk
Routine, non-routine, normal and abnormal, significant, and emergency activities and situations to be identified and all necessary controls through SOP/WI and work permit to be established
Residual risk for each process and equipment to be identified and necessary control measure to be adopted to mitigate the risk
Update HIRA/AIA based on the Unsafe Act/ unsafe condition and near miss from day to day operations
Periodic Review of HIRA/IAI based on the schedule and on occurrence of any incident
Prepare a Master list of applicable legislations, laws and regulations with respective license no. renewals and validity
Identify source to receive the changes in legislations – Indus Environ, Govt Web site, network, news agencies etc.
Periodic updating of the legal register based on the amendments and notifications received in the gazette
Prepare tracker with dates for renewals and report submission dates
Timely submission for renewals and reports
Ensure 100% legal compliance in accordance to the Law of the Land
Update the amendments in the regulations at national and state level in line with the business requirement
Inform the management about the changes in the regulations
Adopt the changes as applicable to the organization and the business
Inform the management about the changes in the regulations and its implications on the business
Bachelor's / Diploma in Industrial Fire & Safety Engineering.
Certification:- Nebosh / SFTC / OSHA.
