Location: Mt Vernon, NY
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour + Benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
On-Site position
Entry-level HR position offers foundational experience in recruitment, employee relations, and administrative tasks, providing a solid base for career growth in the field.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
Assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
Assist with the New Hire process which includes, but is not limited to: All background clearances, collection of important documentation, and acting as a liaison for New Hires until their start date.
Maintain compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting
Maintain all aspects of Dayforce and onboarding.
Insure that all supplies, office equipment and forms used are up to date and available for use.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Director as needed
Assist with special projects
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-2-years’ experience in an HR or administrative assistant role or training.
Good communication skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize various, multi-faceted tasks.
Strong computer skills and ability to organize and manage files.
