We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer - Web Development to technically lead & contribute to design, build, test, deploy and operate features in production.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to technically lead & contribute to design, build, test, deploy and operate features in production. 

Job responsibilities:

  • Feature development including technical designing, Coding, validation and releasing to production. 

  • Work closely with Program Managers and Designers to create engineering plans including timeframes, milestones and quality, reliability and performance goals, 

  • Collaborate across broader team to identify dependencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for re-use or efficiency improvements, 

  • Provide constructive feedback, formulate goals and help the team achieve the goals, 

  • Own scenarios end-to-end and maintainhigh level of quality, reliability and performance, 

  • Encourage innovation across all stages of product lifecycle.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, Typescript, JavaScript

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience with commercial product development with focus on user experiences 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years of software development experience in Web technologies such, but not limited to, React, Typescript, JavaScript

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, React, Typescript, JavaScript

  • OR equivalent experience.

Software Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
