Dura-Line LLC Production Manager in Mountain Grove, Missouri

We are currently seeking a highly strategic manufacturingProduction ManagerinMountain Grove MO location,who will be responsible for plant production, employee training, and development, oversee the production team while implementing lean manufacturing initiatives and procedures. This is a senior plant leadership role. Aspirations to be a Plant Manager is ideal and the desire to coach and mentor other managers is desirable. Our ideal candidate will be a professional with at least 8 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, have excellent mechanical skills, and first-hand experience working in a production and industrial environment. If you have an extrusion or plastics background that is a huge plus!

You will need to be a proven people leader that can set high standards, improve accountability, actively promote culture change and work as a coach and mentor to new hires and employees. Bring your best practices and implement new processes and 5S initiatives on all shifts by using your lean manufacturing mindset and continuous improvement. In this role, you will be taskedto lead people and get results through otherswhich requiresoutstanding communication and interpersonal skills.You will behandlingseveral projects and tasksand it will your responsibility toprioritize, delegate, andorganize.We are expecting our management team to behands-on and visibleon the production floor through Gemba walks and department meetings.Lead by example, influence, and engagetofoster quality, lean, and safety culture at the plantacross all shifts.This site runs24/7 andmust be able to work after hours as needed.

You will useMicrosoftOffice andsystem tools (ODEN,SAP/ERP)thatwill help youstandardize operations andaccomplish your daily goals:preparereports,trackoperational KPIsmetrics, determine work procedures, prepare work schedules,andexpedite workflow.You will use your problem-solving and analytical skillstoresolve production-related issues, reduce scrap production,resolve customer and employee complaints, andimplement corrective actions.

In this role,youwilloversee and participate indaily operationssuch as scheduling, staffing,quality,andcost-effectiveness.A Boots on the Floor mentalitywill allow you tohave the ability toensure effective employee relations, mentor,and empoweryoursupervisors, and balance quality, safety, morale,productivity,and cost to achieve positive results in all areas.
