Richmond Community Services Recruitment and Staffing Manager in Mount Kisco, New York

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner, the Recruitment and Staffing Manager plays a crucial role in our agency. They are responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new talent and overseeing the agency's master schedules and staffing. In addition, they lead the work of the Talent Acquisition Specialist and the Recruitment Coordinator. Most importantly, they are at the forefront of finding qualified professionals who can significantly contribute to our positive culture and atmosphere.

The Recruitment and Staffing Manager demonstrates knowledge of RCS’s mission, vision, and values. In addition, this position actively participates in quality improvement projects (e.g., communicating issues and offering suggestions) to ensure ongoing excellence of services, programs, and staff to maximize the quality of life for individuals supported by RCS.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for Agency recruitment. This includes cultivating resource leads through various sources, generating ads, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. Conducts interviews, assesses candidates’ qualifications and appropriateness for employment at Richmond, and verifies accuracy and completeness of relevant documents.

• Maintains records of all advertisements placed in various media.

• Researches and attends job fairs at local sites.

• Widen talent pools by conducting site visits to local establishments.

• Screens resumes and conducts interviews to determine each candidate's quality and culture fit.

• Analyzes and reviews the process of candidate selection and updates when needed.

• Maintains a selection, assessment, and progress record for each candidate.

• Manages agency-wide master schedules and suggests amendments as needed.

• Maintains records of all advertisements placed in various media.

• Oversees and manages the work of the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Recruitment Coordinator.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3 years of recruitment and staffing experience; healthcare field experience is preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred

• Ability to travel as needed within and around Westchester County

• Familiarity with job boards and applicant tracking systems

• Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft applications

• Excellent organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skills.

• Reliable transportation to travel between Agency sites is required.
