Job Description
Under the direction of the Manager Clean Core, cleans the Operating Room and equipment as required, transports Operating Room patients to the Operating Room and preps Operating Room patients. Assists in maintenance of all supplies
Job Responsibility
Checks rooms to ensure proper setup for case
Records temperature/humidity and adjusts temperature as instructred.Transports patients from their room to the Operating Room as directed.Helps transport patients into the room and onto the Operating Room table, checking to be sure the patient goes nito the correct room and that patient is properly secured to the Operating Room table with leg Strap.Moves a transportation stretcher back to ASC when appropriate.Brings ICU or in-house beds to corridor outside the rooms immediately after patient brought into rooms.Keeps scrub sinks cleaned and stocked.Cleans rooms and rquipment between cases.Supplies portable equipment as needed; cleans ana returns to storage area after use.Stocks supplies as outlined.Assists nurse as needed.Keeps floors and corridors in Operatin Room clean at all times.Keeps all custodial equipment clean at all times.Notifies charge nurse and circulator when leaving and returning to department.Shuts down all suction units, discounnect anesthesia oxygen/N20 connections.Check pringted assignement as start of day for assignments.Takes specimens to laboratory as requested.Transports instrumentionPerforms related duties, as required.*ADA Essential Functions
High School diploma or equivalent, required.Knowledge of sterile technique, preferred.
The salary range for this position is $23.28-$24.55/hour
