Description
Well established company in Morrisville, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant. This role requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years accounting experience. This Staff Accountant main responsibilities are indirect tax and assisting with payroll. The ideal candidate will be well versed in sales and use tax and possesses some knowledge of ADP payroll. Responsibilities:
● Maintains, manages and files all sales and uses tax
● Assists with financial/tax audits
● Performs bank reconciliations
● Collecting timesheet data and payroll information
● Entering data into payroll
● Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, expenses, and commissions
● Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
● Assisting with annual 401k audit
● Preparing Journal Entries to record payroll
Requirements Sales Tax, Monthly Sales Tax, Sales Tax Returns, ADP - Payroll, Account Reconciliation, Month End Close, Journal Entries, NetSuite, Microsoft Excel
