Commerce Quote to Order team enables Cisco's go-to-market strategy with a best-in-class commercial platform, focused on hardware, software subscription, services by using the power of data. At Cisco Commerce our software engineers develop the next-generation CPQ (Configure Price and Quote) Software solutions that handles 50 billion dollars of Cisco revenue. Our solutions handle massive data with multiple flows. We need our engineers to be versatile, fun-loving, and enthusiastic to tackle the latest problems as we continue to push technology forward. Commerce Quote to Order team enables go-to-market strategy with a best-in-class commercial platform with continuous innovation and excellence. The Commerce Quote to Order organization is a team of fun-loving and motivated individuals working on managing IT architecture, platforms, and engineering services for core commerce transactions.

You Will:

* Partner with product management teams to ship products that build customer value using Agile principles.

* Work with a technical leader to design and build next gen architecture for CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) platform.

* Build and support high-volume revenue impacting software systems catering to different routes to market such as direct, partners and distributors and various products such as hardware, software, and services.

* Integrate: work with engineering teams to integrate platform with other systems such as tax, billing, invoicing, subscription, contracts, supply chain, manufacturing etc.

* You will influence your peers to build trust, drive innovation and improve user experience, performance, and scalability of the platform.

* Participate in design and code reviews.

Skills and Requirements

Knowledge in CI/CD platforms including Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Spinnaker, Docker, or related tools.

Experience with developing reporting interfaces, data feeds, and/or data visualizations for business & partner consumption.

Desired experience in Analytics, AI/ML technologies

Strong coding skills

Bachelor's or Masters's degree in engineering or computer science

8+ years of software development experience in building web applications, and integrations.

Server-side software development experience using Sprint/Spring Boot, Java, NodeJS, and/or other comparable technologies.

In-depth knowledge about object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Expert in java concepts like threading, generics, annotations etc.

Angular exposure would be a plus.

MULTITHREADING

MICROSERVICES

Experience with deployment, continuous delivery, software quality assurance (documentation, unit testing, test automation, security analysis, and code reviews).

Proficient in non-SQL databases such as Mongo and Cassandra.

Proficient in Software development lifecycles, agile delivery methods and DevOps

Familiar with Cloud Native Technologies, Elastic Search and Kafka.
