Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver cross-functional, end-to-end complex medical innovation initiatives that contribute to the overall aT1D Brand strategy.

  • Manage aT1D medical initiatives across various categories and project types, ensuring seamless integration and processing from inception to completion prioritizing AI initiatives and Screening Programs.

  • Define and execute the medical project strategy in alignment with functional partners, emphasizing comprehensive end-to-end workflows.

  • Deliver critical aspects of each project on time : scope, schedules, risk mitigation, budget & resources. Provide Project Reporting and KPIs as required.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to create and maintain detailed project plans and risk-adjusted timelines, ensuring smooth end-to-end processing.

  • Build, monitor, and analyze project risks , identifying and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

  • Structure team discussions and drive timely decision-making within the team, ensuring all aspects of the project are addressed from start to finish.

  • Manage project communications to all cross-functional project team members and partners, including project websites, meeting minutes, status reports, presentations, and any other detailed project information needed.

  • Represent the project team in global/regional governance and project/portfolio reviews, advocating for comprehensive end-to-end processing.

  • Proactively communicate project status to key stakeholders, ensuring timely entry of key information into tracking systems and summarizing performance/risks.

  • Maintain Project Systems : ensure data entry, updating, and accuracy, supporting end-to-end project management.

  • Assess organizational capabilities and team mindset , driving improvements to ways of working and delivering enhancements to project execution.

  • Ensure project plans and deliverables follow appropriate design control procedures and any other applicable procedures and/or regulations.

  • Adhere to all laws and policies that apply to the job, maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, ethics, and compliance at all times.

  • Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned .

About You

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Type 1 Diabetes therapeutic area knowledge preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in project management and innovation (e.g. AI), with a focus on end-to-end processing.

  • Agile Scrum experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, management, and teamwork qualities.

  • Experience in business and regulated sectors (e.g., Experience with 510(k) related projects preferred).

  • Understanding of various functions and steps related to innovation processes.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels within the company and with external customers and vendors.

  • Recognized as an experienced and professional project manager by peers.

  • Developed leadership capabilities and negotiation skills, with attention to detail and the ability to effectively assimilate and communicate complex information from multiple sources.

  • Strong analytical skills: ability to proactively analyze problems, identify key issues, develop strategic and tactical solutions, and design metrics to measure business impact.

  • Ability to deal with complex situations and find feasible solutions.

  • Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work in a transforming environment.

The salary range for this position is:

$172,500.00 - $249,166.66

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
