Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
As a Sr. Specialist, Communications, you will be a key member of our communications team, accountable for developing and executing strategic communication plans. You will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the organization's reputation, brand image, and public relations. Your expertise in content development, media relations, and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in creating compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. This is an exciting opportunity to make a transformative impact on our organization's external presence and communication strategy.
In this role, you will impact the organization by crafting and executing strategic communication plans, ensuring consistent and effective messaging to external audiences, including media, customers, partners, and stakeholders. Your ability to develop engaging content and build relationships with key media contacts will contribute to the overall success and reputation of Advanced Materials.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand and reputation and the internal communications strategy.
Create and manage content for press releases, media pitches, articles, and other external communication materials.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with business objectives.
Own & drive end-to-end internal and external communications projects.
Drive corporate messages at a regional and local level.
Support global internal communications metrics as applicable.
YOU MUST HAVE
6+ years of experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
Proven track record in content development, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
