Honeywell Senior Director, Sustainability in Morris Plains, New Jersey
As a Senior Director, Sustainability here at Solstice Advanced Materials (SAM), you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability initiatives and ensuring the integration of sustainable practices across our organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies, setting sustainability goals, and driving the execution of sustainability programs. Your leadership and expertise in sustainability will enable us to enhance our environmental performance, promote social responsibility, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
You will report directly to our VP of HSE and you will work out of our headquarters in Charlotte NC, Houston TX, Morris Plaines NJ (other locations to be considered) on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our organization by leading the development and implementation of sustainability strategies that align with our mission and values. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives, ensure compliance with sustainability standards, and promote a culture of sustainability throughout the organization. Your work will contribute to our efforts in reducing our environmental footprint, enhancing social impact, and driving sustainable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with the organization's mission and values.
• Set sustainability goals and targets, and drive the execution of sustainability programs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives and ensure their successful implementation.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance, including key metrics and targets.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards, regulations, and certifications.
• Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on sustainability practices and initiatives.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry organizations, to drive sustainability collaborations and partnerships.
This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
YOU MUST HAVE
• 10+ years of experience in sustainability leadership or a related field
• Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and frameworks
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies and programs
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills & a proven of people leadership with emphasis on growth and development
WE VALUE
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field
• Master's degree in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field (preferred)
• Passion for promoting a culture of sustainability and social responsibility
