Nilfisk-Advance Warehouse Associate in Morgantown, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R012098 The employee must be proficient in both the shipping and receiving functions. Shipping: Accurately pulls, packs and processes orders for shipment by small package carrier and common carrier. Receiving: Unloads trucks/containers, verifies and enters receipt of incoming shipments. Examines incoming goods for damage and notifies management of problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

SHIPPING: IMPORTANCE % OF TIME 1. Pull, pack, and process orders for shipment. 85% 2. Restock picking locations. 15% TOTAL 100%

RECEIVING: IMPORTANCE % OF TIME 1. Unloads incoming goods from carriers. 20% 2. Verifies quantity of received goods, enters receiving information into ERP LN / SAP and puts stock in specified locations. 60% 3. Loads shipments for pickup by common carriers. 10% 4. Determines locations for new stock and enters stocking locations into ERP LN / SAP. 10% TOTAL 100%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION: High school education or equivalency

EXPERIENCE: * Some data entry experience * General knowledge of warehouse procedures * Forklift experience (licensing required).

KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Data entry skills, accuracy, and ability to work unsupervised. Must work well in a team environment and posses good communications skills.
