Lockheed Martin Global Sustainment Information Systems & Innovation Candidate will support development of simulation training applications and tools. Additionally, will be required to support maintenance of existing product lines and systems. Candidate will work in a collaborative environment with other application programmers and team members. Primary development tool is the Unity game engine.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience with Virtual Maintenance Training platform and development process.

- Experience with Augmented Reality and/or Virtual Reality technologies.

- 3+ years’ experience implementing 3D games and/or 3D simulations in Unity

- 3+ years’ experience working with animated and rigged 3D models in Unity

- 3+ years’ experience with C# and fluent knowledge of OOP, design patterns, event delegates, asynchronous functions, data structures and algorithms

- 2+ years’ experience working with a team in a professional capacity

- High standards for work quality, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision

- Willingness to mentor junior employees and 3D modelers

Desired Skills:

- Experience with rendering pipelines on different platforms, profiling and optimization techniques in VR

- Experience with automation and tool creation in Unity3D

- Experience with Graphics APIs

- Experience with Android / iOS development

- Experience programming network protocols communication (ex: UDP/TCP, HTTP, Bluetooth)

- Experience with 3D modeling tools (ex: Maya, 3D Max, or Blender)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
