Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The position will be responsible for inspecting automation equipment for a global technology leader in high-speed mailroom automation, document imaging, and warehouse automation. The Quality Inspector will be inspecting portions of the sub-assemblies and the finished product. The role involves working alongside the assembly team in Moorestown.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect electro-mechanical machinery and ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Conduct inspections of sub-assemblies and finished products.

  • Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers to verify dimensions.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Work closely with the assembly team to identify and address quality issues.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of quality control experience.

  • Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.

  • Ability to read blueprints and specifications.

  • Experience in quality inspection and control.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on job experience.

  • Experience inspecting electro-mechanical machinery.

  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Workplace safety experience is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a clean warehouse environment alongside approximately 100 other employees in the assembly area. The work is independent but within a team-oriented setting. The shift hours are 2:00 pm – 10:15 pm, Monday through Friday. The job requires the ability to maneuver around equipment, including working in small spaces, and involves sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, squatting, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Employees are provided with a one-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moorestown, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
