Robert Half is seeking an Accounting Manager to spearhead a variety of essential tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, streamlining account reconciliations, overseeing payroll, and driving financial planning strategies. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all general accounting activities
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable/receivable
Manage the billing staff and activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Lead the preparation of monthly financial statements for U.S. and overseas locations
Coordinate and manage budgeting inputs from all locations
Monitor and manage cash flow across all companies
Conduct internal audits as needed and prepare write-ups
Review and suggest accrual adjustments to the VP of Finance
Ensure completion of quarterly and annual financial workpapers for all locations
Review accounts payable disbursements for all vendor/supplier payments, expense reimbursements, commissions, and customer rebates.
Requirements
The ideal Accounting Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.
Other requirements for the Accounting Manager position include and are not limited to:
2+ years oversight to accounting, accounts payable/receivable, billing
Tax experience preferred
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, etc.) and QuickBooks Online.
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
