DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Duties * Prepares planning, design, and construction documents including code analysis documents, studies, reports, sketches, schematic drawings, renderings, specifications, final contract documents, and as-built drawings. * Creates graphics for presentation and marketing purposes. * Along with the project architect and other design professional, communicates with clients to establish project scope of work, building program needs, project schedule and budgets. * Works with senior architects, architects and with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation, and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time. * Performs research pertaining to project conformance related to codes, zoning, building standards, and industry practices. * With senior architects plans layout of project and integrates architectural elements into unified design for client review and approval. * Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for construction. * Assists in the administration of construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans. * Prepares operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports. * Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment. * Prefer working knowledge of current industry software including Revit and BIM.

Experience 3-5 years related experience Education BS in Architecture, preferred or revelant design degree will be considered Qualifications, Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Licenses/Registrations Must be engaged in architecture internship program (AXP) documenting skills required to take the national Architecture Registration Exam. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $64,470 - $93,095. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
