Red Diamond, Inc. Service Manager (SERVI001651) in Moody, Alabama

Summary: Successfully directs the activities for the equipment and service department. Maintains a good service level consistent with company management, customer and sales expectations. Schedules maintenance workorders, installation and pick-up requests, shipping of equipment, equipment parts and accessories. Schedules equipment to be refurbished and staged for orders/installations. Maintains and controls equipment and parts inventories. Ensures maintenance of fleet vehicles. Directs or schedules equipment placement and maintenance nationally. Is responsible for tracking account specific maintenance expense. Maintains a consistent visible presence in the Moody equipment and service shop Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  1. Knowledge of electricity and plumbing.
  2. Good oral and written communication skills.
  3. Excellent customer service skills.
  4. Proficient skill with personal computer and job-related software including Microsoft Office products.
  5. Ability to solve problems and offer creative solutions.
  6. Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience Required:High school or GED equivalent plus 5 years job-related experience in equipment and service repair or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of team leadership experience preferred.

Licenses or Certifications Required:Qualified in the repair of Bunn or equivalent beverage service machines
