Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE/RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is responsible for collaborating with all company functions to ensure the proper functioning of machinery while maintaining compliance with company quality standards.

SPECIFIC TASKS/PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

Resources Management

  • Works with the Manager to assess activity plans and resource allocation within their area of expertise to support the department and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) functions.

  • Ensures and guarantees the proper management of all maintenance and production support activities.

  • Ensures, in compliance with company standards, the transfer of identified competencies from maintenance personnel to production personnel at different stages of the TPM implementation process.

Project Management

  • Ensures the progress of TPM project steps in line with priorities defined by the Manager and company quality standards.

Customer Management

  • Discusses project progress with clients, proposing technical solutions where applicable.

  • Participates in internal or client meetings to support discussions related to technical topics within their area of expertise.

Controls

  • Ensures the proper execution of relevant checks, guaranteeing data integrity in compliance with GMP regulations.

Quality

  • Guarantees the updating of procedures within their area of competence, drafting and revising them as needed while adhering to GMP regulations.

  • Collaborates in department investigations.

  • Ensures accurate and efficient completion of identified formats (paper and/or electronic) for department metrics management.

RFT/OTD

  • Ensures the achievement of company targets for On Time Delivery (OTD) and Right First Time (RFT) in assigned project activities.

  • Commits to continuous improvement and maintaining LEAN processes.

Internal and External Relations Management

  • Works with internal and external functions to complete assigned activities within expected timelines while ensuring quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

(A) ESSENTIAL

Education/Diplomas/Training Courses:

  • Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering

Technical and IT Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of common analytical techniques and instrumentation

Professional Experience:

  • Experience as a supervisor in pharmaceutical/food industries, with participation in “Lean Manufacturing” projects.

Languages:

  • Good spoken and written English

Personality Traits:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills

  • Good listening and communication skills

  • Teamwork attitude and collaboration

  • Leadership skills

(B) DESIRABLE

  • Experience in a multinational pharmaceutical/food company

  • Previous work experience abroad

  • Experience in FDA-certified companies

  • Problem-solving skills
