Robert Half Fixed Assets Accountant in Montvale, New Jersey
Description
Hybrid position available! A Montvale, NJ based client is currently seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant on a contract to full-time basis. The Fixed Assets Accountant will manage a high-volume position of setting up assets, monitoring depreciation schedules, reconciling the Fixed Assets subledger, and preparing monthly reports. The Fixed Assets Accountant should be comfortable in a "tight close" style environment, and will be able to prepare over 30 entries per monthly close. Additionally, the Fixed Assets Accountant should have some familiarity with Lease Accounting and ASC 842, and their impact on Fixed Assets. The ideal Fixed Assets Accountant will have a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a large corporate environment within the consumer products, manufacturing, or retail industries with a high volume of Fixed Assets. Experience with SAP and Excel are a must!
