Full Job DescriptionOur client, a leading independent travel group dedicated to providing unique and memorable travel experiences, is seeking a dynamic and experienced freelance, Communications Specialist to join their team for a short term project!This role is pivotal in ensuring clear, consistent, and informative communication with both internal and external audiences.The Communication Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and executing communication strategies related to their rebranding efforts. This individual will be responsible for strategizing and working closely with the Director of Content and Branding to deliver effective communication plans that support change management initiatives, ensuring all employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the new brand identity. This is a hybrid position, and candidate must be able to be onsite at their location on Monday, 5/5. This person will be expected to be onsite that week, about 3 days. There is opportunity for remote work following that week. In total, this is estimated around 25-40 hours.Responsibilities: - implement comprehensive communication strategies to support the rebranding process.- collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the new brand identity.- manage internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged throughout the rebranding process.- coordinate with external partners, including PR agencies and media outlets, to amplify the rebranding message.- provide guidance and support to leadership on communication best practices and change management strategies.Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.- proven experience in change management and communication strategy development.- strong project management skills.- experience with digital communication tools and platforms.- ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and employees.- familiarity with the travel industry is a plus.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
