Overview

We are inviting applications for the role of Network Operations Engineer, with a range of positions available from mid-level (II) to advanced (IV), catering to varying levels of expertise and experience. This role is integral in enhancing the performance and reliability of our network infrastructure, with a focus on SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf architecture. We encourage applicants with varying degrees of knowledge in these areas, from beginners to seasoned professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage advanced network infrastructure, with a focus on SD-WAN solutions and Spine-Leaf network topology.
  • Oversee the deployment and operational management of SD-WAN for optimal performance.
  • Develop and maintain Spine-Leaf network architecture, emphasizing scalability and high-speed connectivity.
  • Conduct network performance analyses to identify and resolve issues in SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf environments.
  • Lead network security initiatives within the SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf frameworks.
  • Manage network projects, focusing on the adoption of SD-WAN and modern network architectures.
  • Provide troubleshooting for network issues, with a special emphasis on SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf architecture.
  • Proactively plan network capacity, particularly in the context of SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf architecture.
  • Mentor team members, offering guidance on SD-WAN and Spine-Leaf network technologies.

Environmental Factors:

  • Primarily office-based with regular collaboration with IT teams and departmental staff.
  • Flexibility required for overtime during maintenance or emergencies.
  • Occasional travel to sites for network system implementation or troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • For entry-level positions, a basic understanding of SD-WAN technologies and Spine-Leaf network architecture.
  • For higher-level positions, proven capability in designing and managing complex network environments with these technologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex network concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Leadership and mentorship abilities, especially for senior roles.

A fingerprint-supported background check is required.

Environmental Factors

Work is performed in a computer network environment involving considerable interaction with customers, departmental and other IT staff. Some overtime work will be necessary during after hour maintenance or emergencies. Some travel to customer locations may be involved, for which private means of transportation may be required.
