Job Title: Shop Mechanic
Job Description
The Shop Mechanic will maintain all shop equipment and the building. The candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting shop equipment, as well as performing building maintenance.
Responsibilities
Maintain all shop equipment and building
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot shop equipment
Perform building maintenance
Conduct preventive maintenance on heavy equipment
Perform facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Utilize mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills to maintain equipment
Fabricate and weld as needed
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Use hand and power tools proficiently
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic controls
Essential Skills
2-4 years of shop maintenance experience
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and pneumatic controls
Ability to perform preventive and facilities maintenance
Proficiency in welding and fabrication
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Experience with HVAC and plumbing systems
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Experience as a maintenance technician
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 2-4 years of mechanic experience in a shop setting

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
