CenterWell Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Executive in Montgomery, Alabama

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Executive fosters and maintains strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and enhance business outcomes. Demonstrates exceptional communication and negotiation skills, ensuring mutually beneficial collaborations that align with organizational goals. Provides innovative strategies and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall success and profitability of the enterprise. The Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Executive works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Relations Executive contracts and works closely with external pharmaceutical companies and vendors. Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

  • Work with 70 Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and vendors to obtain access to limited distribution products and make products available with direct to consumer and direct to employer opportunities

  • Monitor pipeline trends and seek out relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, provide insights on pharmacy capabilities and enhanced services, negotiate and implement contracts operationally, manage day to day relationships as well as provide data insights for the drug products

  • Travel - 5-7 trips a year, 15-20%

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of specialty pharmacy, manufacturer, or PBM experience

  • 2+ years of project leadership experience

  • Strong consultative and relationship building skills

  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities; organized and detail-oriented

  • Effective problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Knowledge of pharmacy practice and the cost drivers of pharmacy

  • Extensive experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry

  • Proven record of success in negotiating contracts

  • Extensive experience managing external relationships

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacist/Clinician

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Master's in Business, Finance or Healthcare Administration

  • Six Sigma or PMP certification

  • Travel up to 25% (7-10 trips a year)]

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$126,300 - $173,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
