We are seeking a Financial Business Analyst to join the Customer Contract & Relationship Management (CCRM) team. The CCRM team provides contract management and billing support to the finance, operational and sales teams. This position assists and supports the various teams by providing billing analysis to support contract and financial decisions, as well as process analytics and improvement.

To be successful, this individual will need strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to present data analysis to various levels of leadership using a variety of reporting formats and tools. This position also requires excellent Excel and data system skills to maintain contract and other data, review contracts, analyze contract/billing needs, and consider process improvements.

This role can be based to work out of our offices in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Lenexa, KS; Monett, MO; or Springfield, MO. This is a hybrid position that requires you to come to the office 1 day per week (typically Wednesdays). The remaining time you may work remotely from home. Salary range for this position will be $50-70k, depending on candidate experience and geographic location.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Uses data analysis and testing tools to provide reporting to decision makers within the finance department and to external divisions.

  • Presents findings to various leaders and stakeholders.

  • Applies financial principles to estimate future revenues and allow organization to have better visibility in the current actuals and future forecasted revenues.

  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes trends and high volumes of data from multiple sources.

  • Documents revenues and expected expenditures and prepares summary statements and documents.

  • Acts as a consultant to management on financial policies, procedures, and applications.

  • Performs special studies and other forms of analyses as requested.

  • Serves as the liaison between billing/accounting and organization.

  • Tracks revenue from customers, reconciling the actual amount being paid vs contracts, tracking termination dollars, discount dollars, etc.

  • May perform additional duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, contract review, and/or data management.

  • Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Excel Power Query, and/or SQL.

  • Must have experience with written and/or in-person communications to external customers or internal leadership.

  • Associate degree.

  • Must be able to travel up to 5% for occasional corporate meetings.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Experience with Salesforce or PeopleSoft.

  • Experience with machine learning or automation/AI tools.

  • Experience in banking, billing, fintech, or sales/marketing.
