Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Client Account Coordinator at our Genesis Occupational Health Moline!!

As a Client Account Coordinator at MercyOne, you will be responsible for day-to-day collection functions not limited to: accounting functions, posting payments timely and with a high degree of accuracy from insurance, third party payers, or employers. Responsible for coordinating the end of month reporting. Collaborates on denial management. Diligently pursues insurance payments collections through the use of phone calls, written inquiries, and payer websites. Will maximize payer website functionality to efficiently review claim status, request a review of a correct ted requirements for billing. Identifies trends or problems with insurance reimbursement and resolves issues when the indicated action is within the scope of the employee's authority. Will ensure all activities support the standards and philosophies of Genesis Occupational Health. Assists Scheduling Coordinator with scheduling multi-facility appointments/tests/procedures accurately and efficiently according to Health System departmental standards. Triages incoming phone calls to appropriate clinic, support staff and physicians

Schedule:

  • Full Time 40hrs a week, Monday - Friday, hybrid schedule, no holidays, no weekends.

General Requirements:

  • Medical office, billing/AR, medical terminology knowledge.

  • Knowledge of local/national workers compensation rules; ICD and CPT training/experience.

  • More than 1 year experience required.

  • Interaction is with a variety of people inside or outside the organization. Communications are often difficult or stressful in nature. Contact with others involves complex, detailed and often sensitive topics. The job requires a high degree of interpersonal skills to deal with a range of complicated problem situations. Interactions involve earning the trust of children and adolescents, as well as an ability to communicate with them in a clear manner.

Education:

  • High school graduation or equivalent.
