PeopleReady Project Engineer in Molalla, Oregon

PeopleReady Skilled Trades client is seeking a Residential Project Engineer in the Molalla, Oregon area. In this long-term, temp-to-hire role, you'll enjoy weekly pay, health insurance, benefits and a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate is able to assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with field work , estimating , procurement, repairing reports, subcontracts, and provides overall support in every aspect of each project. Note: The pay rate for this job is $24 - $43 / hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to interpret their requirements and needs.

  • Maintain quality control and compliance in every aspect of the project.

  • Submit reports on project status.

  • Formulate project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees.

  • Conduct regular meetings with the clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.

  • Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.  

 Qualifications:

  • Must have strong experience in the residential Carpenter field.

  • Construction/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Project Management degrees preferred.

  • Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems and tools.

  • Ability to solve problems and work under pressure.

  • Knowledgeable at reading plans, shop drawings and specifications

  • Excellent math and computer skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with workers and trades.

  • Knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam, and Procore.
