Description
Jackie Meza with Robert Half offering an exciting opportunity in Modesto, California, for a Staff Accountant. This role plays a crucial part in our industry, with responsibility on full cycle accounting including AP, AR, journal entries and GL.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintaining precise records of customer credits
• Resolving any customer queries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required
• Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Conducting Bank Reconciliations
• Managing the General Ledger and creating Journal Entries
• Assisting in Month End Close processes
• Utilizing QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Preparing and filing Form 1099.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processing is required.
• Must exhibit strong skills in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations is a must.
• Should have a strong understanding of General Ledger management.
• Experience with Journal Entries is necessary.
• Must be capable of handling Month End Close procedures.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software is required.
• Experience with Form 1099 processing is necessary.
