Position Summary:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst based at our Mississauga office. You will be responsible for design, build and implementing of business intelligence capabilities and tools, with the end goal of maximizing profits and increasing our efficiency.

A day in the life:

• Assist with the design, development, and implementation of tools for sales forecasting and rebate management using Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and other applications within the Microsoft Power Platform suite

• Assist in creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to support the forecast and rebate tools

• Work closely with the business to understand and translate business requirements into visualizations and Power Platform solutions.

• Develop, deploy, and manage applications on Microsoft Power Platform.

• Provide support in data preparation, analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to data visualization and Power Platform applications.

• Assist in documenting processes, methodologies, and guidelines.

• Help in training end-users on developed solutions and ensure they can utilize them effectively.

What will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field from a recognized institution.

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake or similar) and Microsoft Power Platform and its components (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents).

• Solid understanding of Power Query

• Solid understanding of DAX

• Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modelling.

Preferred Skills:

• Solid understanding of UX/UI design principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with MS Office VBA
