Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Mishawaka, Indiana
Description:
This position is a multi-craft maintenance role. This person is going to be responsible for maintenance and repair on over 30 CNC machining centers. They will be responsible for doing about 70% reactive maintenance and 30% PMs. A lot of the reactive maintenance comes from operator error and something is off on the machine. Their machines have a variety of different control software (Mitsubishi, Unitronics, Fanuc) that the person ideally can learn to troubleshoot with.
They will be doing maintenance and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic components, spindles, pallet changes, vacuums, band saws, relays, pumps, sensors, prox switches, motors. They have VFD's that this person will need to be able to work with as well. When not having reactive maintenance to do, they need to be working on their project list which can have over 100 different things to take care of at a time. Their core responsibility is to make sure the machines are operating at peak efficiency to get as much product out the door as possible.
