About the job:

As an Exercise Physiologist you develop and implement exercise programming for patients within the cardiopulmonary and vascular rehab programs. This includes the ability to accurately review and interpret clinical measurements such as EKGs, hemodynamics and signs and symptoms of clinical deterioration. This person also can educate patients individually as well as in group settings, provide the exercise prescriptions consultations, and coordinate exercise functions for the program. Other responsibilities include conducting the wellness classes, presentations and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, Allied Health or Exercise Science. Certified by ACSM as Exercise Specialist. Master’s degree in Exercise/Exercise Physiology preferred.

Licensure: Current License to practice in the State of Indiana. Certified fin Basic Life Support. ACLS Certification preferred.

Experience: Two (2) plus years previous experience in adult fitness and/or cardiac rehabilitation programs
