Overview

The Talent Management Specialist will support all event planning, onsite support and data management for the Executive Development Team. This includes venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, onsite coordination, and the marketing of the Executive Development programs. The Talent Management Specialist will be supporting the efforts of the entire Executive Development team and the programs they support including the Exceptional Leader Program and EmpowHER.

Primary Responsibilities

• Program Manager consultation: Meet with Executive Development Program Managers to understand the Program needs, preferences, and budget

• Venue selection: Researching and selecting appropriate venues that meet the event's needs and budget, working through our SGWS events team.

• Vendor management: Coordinating with various vendors to ensure smooth execution of the event.

• Budgeting: Managing the budget for all Exec Development Programs including negotiating contracts and processing invoices with vendors and suppliers.

• Timeline and logistics: Creating a detailed timeline and managing logistics for the event, including setup, teardown, and transportation.

• Guest management: Overseeing guest lists, rooming requirements, invitations, RSVPs, and seating arrangements.

• On-site coordination: Managing the event on the day of, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, and addressing any issues that may arise.

• Post-event evaluation: Conducting post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement.

• Marketing and promotion: Maintaining the Executive Development SharePoint page to ensure it has all the most up-to-date information.

• Data Management: Supporting the successful tracking of Executive Development programs and nominations in learning management systems.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus 3 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ability to evaluate data to produce and interpret graphs, charts and spreadsheets

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution

• Demonstrated advanced working experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Demonstrated writing and editing skills with a demonstrated ability to distill, organize and convey complex information in a logical, visually pleasing, and user-friendly manner with the ability to direct communications at broad audiences

• Used to handling confidential information and acts with highest integrity

• Ability to develop creative solutions and drive effective organizational and behavioral change

• Ability to make effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

• Ability to function independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence

• Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet designated deadlines

• In-depth experience in SuccessFactors

• Ability to travel as needed up to 50%

• Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

• Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 15lbs
