Job Summary The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or turnkey framing packages for residential, Single-family, Multi-family, and Commercial Builders by developing and maintaining customer contacts within any of the following areas. Ideal candidates would reside within the following areas: Sioux Falls, South Dakota Fargo, North Dakota Principle Duties and Responsibilities Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base Identify customer needs and solve problems Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers Troubleshoots problems for customer Qualify customers' creditworthiness Monitors sales market in assigned region Prepares various reports as required Accounts receivable management Month-end inventory participation Performs other duties as required Qualifications Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area Preferred minimum of five years experience selling wall panels, roof/floor trusses, stair kits and/or turnkey framing packages Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications Preferred manufacturing background, but not required Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product lines The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
