Duties and Responsibilities: 70% - Perform molecular biology and protein biochemistry experiments to study virus entry into host cells using established procedures and guidelines under general supervision. 20% - Keeping detailed records of all experiments and procedures in lab and assist with various administrative duties related to the functioning of the laboratory. 10% - Monitoring inventories of supplies and ordering common chemicals and reagents for the laboratory. The employee in this position will work up to 67 days in a calendar year. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biology or a combination of related education and work experience to equal four years in related biological science fields. Experience in the following areas: phage display screening, pseudovirus entry assay and protein purification.
