Shipping Supervisor - Bloomington - UP to 75K - 1ST Shift
Job Description
Responsible for the supervision of outbound logistics operations. Ensure orders are accurately picked, packaged, and shipped on-time. Responsible for 4-5 direct reports and will need to provide clear direction, training, discipline, performance feedback, and delegate tasks. Communication to internal employees, suppliers, and customers. Will partner with Production, Customer Service, and transportation teams to meet timelines. Monitor inventory and ensure supply coordination. Maintain accurate shipping records, BOLs, and verify compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations. Provide input for process improvements and system enhancements to ERP/WMS applications. Assist with employee scheduling, timekeeping, and staffing plans.
Responsibilities

Essential Skills
Experience using ERP systems (Epicor, SAP)
Knowledge of LTL, FTL, and international freight
5+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role (manufacturing setting preferred)
Experience with forklift operations
Warehouse management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Inventory management
Knowledge of SAP
Cycle counts
Continuous improvement experience
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Plant scheduling in a manufacturing factory
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one

Work Environment
Union production facility with assembly, engineering, shipping/receiving areas. The shop houses 45-70 people depending on the season. Ramp season is from spring to early fall to meet the demands of school districts. The production environment is clean, but it can get warm/hot during the summer and somewhat dusty from time to time.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
