Siteimprove Senior Training Specialist in Minneapolis, Minnesota

The Senior Training Specialist Customer Education elevates the impact of our customer-facing training to a strategic, data-driven, and consultative discipline. This role applies deep expertise to solve complex training challenges and craft programs that anticipate customer needs and align with their business goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Customer Success, Marketing), the Training Specialist delivers a differentiating customer experience by mapping Siteimprove platform capabilities to critical use cases, analyzing data to recommend enhanced experiences, and driving continuous improvement for training delivery and content. What you will be doing* Value Creation * Collaborate across departments (e.g., Product, Customer Success) to shape and deliver advanced training that highlights the strategic use of Siteimprove products. * Map customer challenges to scalable solutions, demonstrating how Siteimprove capabilities address real business pain points and future needs. * Proactively provide value consulting by identifying untapped platform features and advocating for adoption strategies that directly impact customer KPIs. * Customer Experience * Accurately anticipate customers' training needs to deliver a differentiating experience through custom programs, real-time Q&A, and advanced best practices. * Partner with internal teams to gather feedback and utilize it in refining the training experience, escalating issues as needed to ensure an exceptional outcome. * Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate platform complexity, resolve unique challenges, and stay current on feature releases. * Data & Analytics Strategy * Draw on usage data, customer feedback, and industry benchmarks to inform training roadmaps and identify where deeper instruction is needed. * Contribute to improvements in data capture, tracking, and analytics platforms, ensuring training programs are measurable, adaptable, and continually optimized. * Track and report on training metrics (attendance, satisfaction, impact on adoption) and deliver strategic insights to leadership, shaping future resource allocation. * Relationship Development * Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including executives and decision makers, to understand evolving needs and champion new initiatives. * Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure training objectives align with product roadmaps, Customer Success strategies, and broader organizational goals. * Practice Leadership * Serve as a thought leader within Customer Education by modeling best practices in instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and platform expertise. * Set and uphold professional standards for training content, delivery formats, and team performance. * Mentor and coach junior training specialists, facilitating skill development and consistency of service delivery. * Risk & Issue Management * Identify and evaluate training-related risks, such as low adoption or inconsistent engagement, before they escalate, and recommend mitigation strategies. * Address complex issues or escalations that arise during training delivery, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure a swift and effective resolution. * Insights & Reporting * Lead the creation of advanced training reports and dashboards, synthesizing data from multiple systems to provide actionable insights for internal teams and customers. * Develop recommendations to further enhance training strategy, including new delivery methods, content updates, and resource needs based on findings. * Operational Compliance * Maintain thorough knowledge of Siteimprove's policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards, ensuring all training materials and delivery methods are compliant. * Continuously seek to optimize processes, ensuring training operations run efficiently and align with broader company standards. What we will require of you* 6 7 years of experience in a customer training, nablement, or educational rolepreferably within a SaaS or technology-focused organization. * Demonstrated ability to deliver advanced value consulting, aligning training outcomes to broader business objectives and quantifiable ROI. * Proven track record of analyzing data from multiple sources (usage analytics, customer feedback, industry benchmarks) to recommend strategic training improvements. * Skilled at navigating complex customer challenges, including escalations or advanced technical inquiries, with minimal supervision. * Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, including experience leading large-scale virtual or on-site training with senior-level stakeholders. * Experience in leading cross-functional projects or initiatives that improve training effectiveness and align with organizational goals. * Ability to operate independently and proactively, prioritizing tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment while ensuring alignment with larger team objectives. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and various Learning Management Systems. * Comfortable using or adapting data analytics platforms or reporting tools to measure and demonstrate training impact. What we will love about you* Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related field. * In-depth knowledge of Siteimprove or similar SaaS platforms, demonstrating the ability to serve as a subject matter expert. * Familiarity with advanced LMS administration, content-authoring tools, and data analysis/visualization platforms (e.g., Storyline, Camtasia, Tableau). * Negotiation experience: adept at forging consensus across multiple stakeholders with differing priorities. * Prior leadership or mentorship experience, guiding junior team members in best practices and ongoing professional development.
