What are you waiting for?! The Big Picture: Mortenson is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join the Mortenson family. This is an additional role added to support the growth of the business. This role will be assigned multiple businesses, responsible for working closely with Company Leaders to drive key people and talent-related initiatives. What will you be doing? Be the focal point for the deployment of core HR processes such as compensation planning, performance reviews, and other HR initiatives with assigned businesses. Coach and counsel team members and managers Support the team with various special projects such as process simplification, policy rollouts, or leading high-performing team sessions Ability to travel up to 25% All other duties as assigned How will you succeed? Ability to effectively build strong relationships with business leaders Ability to navigate situations and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of the organization (both inside and outside the company) Be a team player with a positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to drive results in a fast-moving and constantly changing environment Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - able to prepare and analyze HR reports, translate data into leader recommendations to take appropriate action Ability to lead and manage projects independently EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Minimum of five years of Human Resources experience, with knowledge including but not limited to, Talent Management, Compensation and Employee Relations Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field, preferred but not required This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship #LI-JF1 Mortenson is an EOE/Affirmative Action/M/F/Veteran/Disabled employer.
