Job ID359767 LocationTwin Cities Job FamilyResearch-Researchers Full/Part TimeFull-Time Regular/TemporaryRegular Job Code8352R1 Employee ClassCivil Service About the Job Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or higher in a biological or related biomedical field or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 4 years. * Some prior laboratory research experience * Exceptional attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with culture and differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cell cardiomyocytes About the Job: Human induced pluripotent stem cell experiment coordination and execution (80%): Responsible for maintenance of human induced pluripotent stem cells and differentiation to cardiomyocytes. Prepare the lab for cell culture and assist other lab members in designing experiments. Experiments will be monitored and analyzed, with findings shared with PI and other members of the laboratory staff. Follow up analysis may also often be required. Laboratory Operations (10%) Participate collaboratively in the ongoing operations of the laboratory, which may include ordering supplies, and monitoring inventory.
