Lutheran Social Service of MN Project Coordinator for Freedom School with 1000 Hiring Bonus in Minneapolis, Minnesota

You may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $500.00 after 3 months (and a minimum of 200 hours worked) and remaining $500.00 after 6 months (and a minimum of 400 hours worked). To be eligible to receive the hire bonus, the new hire must fulfill the scheduled shifts hired for, have completed required training, and meet performance expectations as determined by the supervisor and next level management. Job Summary: This position is responsible for planning and supporting the needs of Freedom School programming. This role will provide administrative support and duties directly related to programming, volunteer engagement, community engagement, enrollment, data collection, and hiring. The Project Coordinator also provides support to the MYFS Director and Freedom School Site Coordinator. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a social service field or equivalent experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong public relations and public speaking skills. Basic email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel skills. Valid driver's license. Project management experience preferred. Experience with youth or issues of homelessness preferred.
