At Avivo, our employees work with utter commitment to their clients, embracing the full person, believing in the dignity of all people The Program Director will provide leadership for the clinical services in our Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. The Director is responsible for supervision and oversight of all clinical operations and staffing. The Director will provide some direct group and individual clinical services as well. The Director will work closely with the Service Area Director, Program Director Family Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, Mental Health Professionals, and the counseling team, ensuring consistent, integrated, high-quality programming for the clients in the Intensive Outpatient Treatment program. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Service Area Director on the recruitment, hiring, retention and development of a diverse workforce, ensuring adherence with all applicable organizations and licensing policies and procedures. Interview, hire and train for direct staff, develop and evaluate staff based on documented needs and desired outcomes for programs/services. Monitor documentation of all supervisees for accuracy and timeliness, and report status to supervisor monthly. Provide ongoing coaching, training, support, and foster an atmosphere for open and direct communication; establishing and clearly communicating performance expectations and ensuring effective delegation; and conducting timely performance and salary reviews. Manage and oversee the disciplinary process of staff not meeting standards, and ensure all actions are consistent with established organization policies. Consult with VP, Service Area Director, and Human Resources prior to implementing disciplinary actions. Regular group supervision- minimum 1 time per month. Regular individual supervision - minimum 1 time per month per supervisee. Ensure consultation and supervision is available and provided on a regular basis. Address urgent client situations. Ensure coverage plan to ensure mission of each program is being met. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree (minimum), Master's Degree (preferred). Experience: Minimum of three years' experience in delivery of chemical dependency treatment and/or integrated dual diagnosis treatment. Licensure: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). Maintain current license and inform supervisor immediately of any change in licensure status. Supervisory experience: Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Minimum of at least 5 years' experience delivering services in a mental health setting. Experience with and/or commitment to working in a diverse, continuum of services in a fast-paced, growing organization. Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to developing and delivering culturally responsive services. PREFERRED Experience with programs serving individuals with dual diagnoses. * Dually licensed as mental health and chemical health professional.
