These include the Bill Fine Postdoctoral Fellow position, which includes substantial travel funds and full academic freedom to contribute to the broad condensed matter physics efforts at UMN. A Bill Fine Fellow is expected to collaborate with the condensed matter theory group, which includes Profs. Fiona Burnell, Andrey Chubukov, Hart Goldman, Alex Kamenev, Natalia Perkins and Oriol Valls. Three other postdoctoral positions are associated with Prof. Andrey Chubukov under the Simons Collaboration on New Frontiers in Superconductivity, with Prof. Hart Goldman, and with Profs. Job Duties Primary duties include the following: 70%: Research 10% Supervision of graduate students and/or undergraduates participating in relevant research. 10%: Communicating research to the broader community by writing papers, submitting them for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Giving presentations at universities and laboratories and presenting results at domestic and international conferences. 10% Other duties of a similar scope as assigned. Qualifications Required.
