Actalent Mechanical Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota
Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with minimum of 5 years experience with a strong passion for engineering and a can-do attitude to join our team. While experience is important, we value the right attitude, adaptability, and the willingness to learn and grow with us.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, design, and analyze mechanical systems and components.
• Create detailed engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations for new and existing projects.
• HVAC and piping design utilizing Revit, Trane 3d Plus and CAEPIPE.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ASHRAE, NFPA and VA TIL standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Having a PE license is REQUIRED. Having Revit experience is REQUIRED.
• A positive and proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Willing to learn 3D modeling (Revit, Cad Plant3d). Analysis tools (Trane 3D Plus, CAEPIPE).
• Ability to research and apply relevant industry standers such as ASHRAE or NFPA.
• Previous experience in mechanical engineering is a plus.
