Robert Half Financial Reporting Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is primarily based in the financial industry. The responsibilities of this position include overseeing financial reporting, managing balance sheets, and leading financial audits.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage financial reporting procedures

• Draft footnotes and supporting schedules for financial documents

• Lead financial audits to ensure compliance with industry standards

• Handle purchase accounting support to ensure accurate financial data

• Manage open balance sheet accounts for proper financial monitoring

• Utilize skills in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Balance Sheet Account, Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting, and US GAAP to perform tasks effectively

• Ensure all financial operations are in line with US GAAP guidelines

• Monitor and manage customer credit applications and records

• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to financial matters

• Take appropriate actions for customer account monitoring. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Demonstrated experience in Auditing

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Account Management

• Proficient in Technical Accounting

• Experience in Financial Reporting

• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a similar role or financial management

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred

• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities

• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proven ability to work under strict deadlines

• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial information

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
